You like video? Probably so, or you would not have reached this page. Well, the great news is that Discount Vacation Rentals Online has its web site almost saturated with video and we will continue until all our vacation rentals have video to back up the pictures! How are the videos made?
The property walk-throughs are taken at eye level with a minimal wide angle HD camera. (Because the wide angle is minimal you will see a few turn around movements for overall view) This means the camera is your eyes when you walk to/in/out of the vacation rental. Many of our guests have come back to us saying it was exactly as shown in the movie. Well, that is exactly the purpose we are trying to achieve. Where some web sites use pictures from other homes, we can’t and won’t.
How old are these videos?
Discount Vacation Rentals Online makes the videos themselves and we only started taping our first video in the last quarter of 2008. Have you been on VRBO lately and thought that the pictures looked a little old? They are! And so is the house then most likely!
What enhancements and editing is done to the videos?
Simple: none. That is, there may be a swivel feature when the front door opens or a swivel on the stairs as walking up to the house or up and down the stairs is not very exciting, nor is opening a sliding door to the pool area. No enhancing, no adding or deleting, just a walk through the rental home.
Any other videos beside vacation rental homes and condos?
