Orlando Human Search Engine

August 10th, 2009

down-marketSure, blame the economy! You don’t need to be a politician it seems to highlight a positive factor when your company just lost 4% over the last quarter! Expedia reported earlier this month a decline of 4% profit margin, Hotels.com earlier reported a loss… who doesn’t? It’s the economy…

There are the exceptions: the people who display flexibility, who gear their efforts towards the market and the consumer positions. And the winner is… the one who is happy he found an ‘explanation’ for his bad numbers? The one who takes a chair and waits till it blows over? Or the one who says: here I am, I can help!

Discount Vacation Rentals Online will let you be the judge. Feel free to comment at the bottom, please do! We love your reaction, we love your ideas.

Orlando Human Search Engine

the-human-search-engineHere is one idea which makes us stand out to ANY one on our market: As much as we have owners and management companies that offer their inventory to us and the market, we gather that information and offer it to the market as well, at discounted rate because of the volume we turn. However, we could not possibly put all homes on our web site without becoming just another rental listing company. We now offer a service that we like to call: The Orlando Human Search Engine. We ask people blunt what they are looking for. That is vacation home, condo or town home, what price range or budget they are working with, how many bedrooms and which bedding is required, if they need internet or a games room, if a spa would be preferred, or if distance to the parks is a bonus etc. Discount Vacation Rentals Online then crawls their web site as well as other web sites totaling a few thousand vacation rental properties and match the requirements of the guest and offer these options to them.

And the cost to the guest is… gratis. If we don’t find anything that matches, we will offer options anyhow and the guest will decide. Don’t like what we found? Here is a few more options… There is no obligation, there is no down payments until we have found what you like. You do like one or more of the options, only then you will proceed and make the reservation. If not, best friends and hopefully we can help you next time you come to Orlando.

Give it a try? Shoot us an e-mail at reservations@discountvacationrentalsonline.com or give us a call at 407-492-0094. If all of us are busy, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as someone is available to assist you fully. Look forward to hear from you soon!

Spinnerbaits, soft jerkbaits and chugging baits can also be very productive at times. Fly fishermen have good success wade fishing along the miles of the shoreline on Lake Kissimmee. Work on the roller coaster first began back in July of 2008 in Munich, Germany.  The giant beams and track were created and then packaged for shipping in 120 containers.  There were more than 60 sections of track and over 200 columns created for the Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster.   The theme parks states that this ride will include several “first time maneuvers” including a 103 foot diameter circle from which cars flip from the inside to the outside of the loop.

An intense, highly sophisticated adventure is surely on the way with the opening of the new Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster.  We’re just waiting for “and…ACTION!”

Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend in Orlando

April 24th, 2009
Visit Orlando for a great Memorial Day weekend getaway

Visit Orlando For A Great Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

Memorial Day was first observed on May 30, 1868 in order for Americans nationwide to remember the sacrifices of Civil War soldiers.  This day was originally called Decoration Day, as the first participants of the holiday helped to decorate the graves of 20,000 Union and Confederate soldiers buried in the Arlington National Cemetery.  Decades later Congress passed the National Holiday Act of 1971, declaring the last Monday in May as a federal holiday honoring those who gave their all for this country.

A tradition of the holiday in years past was to wear red poppies on Memorial Day and for the community to participate in the decorating of graves in the towns local cemeteries. An American flag was placed at each of the soldiers grave sites.

Today many Americans still practice tradition of the flag etiquette and many cities and small towns will hold Memorial Day parades in our soldiers’ honor.  At 3p.m. local time, Americans may observe a moment of remembrance and respect by taking a moment of silence. This day is a time for our country to unite once more and remember and reflect on those who have provided such a heroic deed to our country.

Families come together each year for the 3 day weekend hosting the Memorial Day holiday.  If you are looking for the perfect place to celebrate as a family and remember those who keep our country safe, come and visit Orlando where you’ll find tons of activities throughout the month of May.  You can attend the jammin’ Florida Music Festival, the Orlando International Fringe Festival or a unique festivity known as Star Wars Weekends at Disney (a celebration of the Star Wars film series).  Or is kickin’ back around the house more your style?  Then bring the family to Orlando and stay in your favorite vacation rental home, light up the BBQ grill and let the kids enjoy a sparkling private pool in the sunshine. DVRO will surely help you plan your Memorial Day weekend getaway.  Local events and festivals will be posted in the future.
