The KSA Classic Field Hockey Tournament in Orlando Florida originates from one of the largest High School sporting events hosts. For all teams big and small, KSA has a sport for you and is proud of a rich history of sporting events cross country. The field hockey tournament held in Orlando’s Disney World “Wide World Of Sports” is a labor day event that runs from September 3rd – 5th, 2009.

This KSA event is like any other KSA organizations a true national representation of elite teams coming from all the way up in Alaska to Florida to play in this field hockey tournament. Your team does not necessarily be the best of the rest to come and compete here in Orlando . Everyone can join in. You do need to register with the organization of course prior to your arrival. Teams are divided into 8 team brackets to play the tournament. For those who are only interested in scrimmages, there is a place for those as well here in the Orlando field hockey tournament. The Disney Wide World of Sports will be hosting the 2009 Soccer Showcase Qualifier on September 5th to 7th. This event is hosted by the Chelsea Football Club.

The Disney Soccer Showcase annually includes top boys and girls club teams in 14 age groups. The event also includes the Adidas Super Group, which features the U.S. Men’s National Team, U.S. Youth Soccer’s ODP Boy’s Regional Teams, and international youth squads from as far as Europe to Asia. The top two finishers of each age group will earn a land into Disney’s Junior Soccer Showcase in November or The Disney Soccer Showcase in December. All of the winners will be guaranteed a spot in the top flight. Awards will be presented to the 1st – 4th place teams for groups of players that are 7 or more. Awards will be presented to the teams of 6 or fewer players for 1st and 2nd place.

Spread over 220 acres at the Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Wide World of Sports complex plays host to more than 170 teams each year for professional and amateur athletes in over 30 sports. The 2010 AAU Boy’s Basketball 9U Division II National Championships will be taking place at the wonderful Florida’s Disney Wide World of Sports July 2010. These young athletes will be representing sixteen states within the US: Illinois, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Maryland, Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, California, New Jersey, Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, and Puerto Rico. Over 52 teams from across the country will be taking center court at Mickey’s courtyard at Disney’s Wide World of Sports. Walking down for opening ceremony, the players will be introduced by team with the wonderful light beams, loud speakers and the cheer from the audience. These young athletes will be dribbling their way into stardom on the Disney Courts. After the final buzzer sounds, trophies and awards will be given to the top 10 squads and individuals from the top 10 teams will have the change to leave home with a gold, silver or bronze award. The top four teams will receive their choice to an automatic bid back to the Division II Championship or to the Division I Championships for 2010. The 2010 Fall Classic AAU Boys Basketball will be taking place at the Disney Wide World of Sports in August 2010. All teams will be playing to earn a bid for the 2011 grade National Championship. The format of play is a pool system leading to the basketball championship bracket roster. The schedule of play will be announced a week prior to the start of the basketball tournament. This schedule will be e-mailed to all teams individually but will also be available online on the AAU Boys Basketball web site. Teams who do not complete their full schedule will face penalties. Teams will play according to the Rule Book of the Boys Basketball Handbook, also available for review on the web site. The event will be hosted at the Milk house and at the Jostens Center located at Disney’s Wide World of Sports in beautiful Lake Buena Vista. The teams will have over 12 courts total all in one location to show off their skills. The AAU was well represented at the 2010 NBA draft. The AAU lit up round one with 14 of the initial 30 picks having come through the AAU system and had 2 more selections in the second round. 12 out of the 13 selections were all former AAU players.
