New strains of Disney attractions is about to come our way early in 2012 as announced in the Walt Disney World’s annual passholder newsletter “The Mickey Monitor”. This is the first stage of Disney’s Fantasyland expansion as promised in the D23 Expo in Anaheim by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Jay Rasulo. 
The date is still vague but major expansions are in 2 phases and will widen the size of the park up to 2013. A more colorful, immersive and memorable encounters with various characters is promised by this plan. It will be more than just meet-and-greet. It will weld and engross hands-on escapades!
Early in 2012 the Storybook Circus will rise as part of the set of Fantasyland attractions. Actually, Fantasyland, at present, is already a must-see themed park of Disney. It has the most photographed building in Walt Disney World, which is the Cinderella’s Castle that can be perceived in the main entrance to the park. Standing at 180 feet, the aesthetic designs and features inspired by the French castles of this wonderful structure is more than enough to wow guests and spectators. Universal Resorts in Orlando, Florida, a Universal Studios sister company, is good in bringing movie adaptations from scenes to reality. After the success of recreating the famous attraction The Wizarding World of Harry Potter from the bestselling books and blockbuster films, Universal Resorts is now in the process of building up the new Orlando attraction in 2012 tentatively tagged as the “Despicable Me” from the 2010 animated film under Illumination Entertainment.
This new Orlando attraction in 2012 will replace the recently closed Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast and Hanna-Barbera’s “The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera” placed from June 1990 to October 2002. In association of film producer Chris Meledandri of Despicable Me and Illumination Entertainment, it was announced that the recreation of this animated film being designed by Universal Creative Company is on-going. Mount Dora Arts Festival is an annual event that is showcasing everything about artistic works. Every area of art will be showcased in this event. From oil paintings, clay, graphical works, photography, watercolor paintings, acrylics, glass crafts, contemporary and classical jewelry designs, sculptures from varied materials, mixed media and many more.
