ICAST 2009: In association with MAATS Orlando Convention
NATIONAL MARINE MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION (MAATS)
The 10th annual Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show (MAATS) is expected to be held at the Orlando Convention Center in July 2010. The event will be held at the Orlando Convention Center‘s West Building, Hall WB1. The expected number of attendees is 700. MAATS is dedicated to the marine aftermarket. The trade show is the ideal meeting place for new business opportunities for exhibitors and buyers to conduct marine related business face to face. This event is not open to the public. The MAATS exhibit will attract the market of interior parts, aftermarket electronics, electrical equipment, instrumentation, navigation equipment including software, boat care, coatings, chemicals, deck equipment, propulsion parts, propellers-including engine equipment, trim tabs, engine maintenance, trailers, parts & accessories. The MAATS is co-located with the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trade (ICAST). ICAST 2009 is the world’s largest sports fishing trade show. The ICAST trade show is expected to have thousand of attendees from all over the world. This will give attendees the chance to attend both shows while staying in the same lodging accommodation.
The MAATS show will be launching a Green Product Zone display area to promote attention to the green aftermarket products and accessories that are available. In addition, the MAATS will be holding three seminars modified specially for dealers, exhibitors and buyers on how to improve their business. The three seminars are:
- Improving Dealer Margins Through Online Education
- Using e-Learning to Improve Sales and Margins
- Enhanced Marine Retail
S.T.E.P. Purchasing Meetings
The National Marine Distributors Association (NMDA) has combined its S.T.E.P. Purchasing Conference with MAATS. During July 13-14th, NMDA members will meet in private, closed-door meetings to plan their programs for the year. The event is surely the perfect event to commingle with many different associates within the industry and to network your business and services.
