Surf Expo 2009 in the Orlando Convention Center Florida

Central Florida welcomes the Surf Expo to the West Hall of the Orlando Convention Center on August 20th to 22nd. This event is expected to have over 12,000 attendees within the surfing industry.

The Orlando Surf Expo features more than 2,000 booths of apparel and hard goods and a full line-up of special events, including fashion shows, annual award ceremonies, and skate and other board sport demos. Manufacturers and sellers in the surf, skate, water sports, swim and resort industries will come together in a business first-buying and selling environment. The Surf Expo draws buyers from specialty stores across the U.S., Caribbean, Central and South America and around the world. Whether it’s the opportunity to look at new lines from your favorite vendors, source new product, and network with your peers, learn tips and gain insights to improve your bottom line, the Surf Expo will help you cover all areas.

This expo will host several different events such as the Beach Lounge; where you will unwind to the sounds of the ocean in this white and blue oasis at the top of the hall. You can also enjoy The Chill Lounge where you will relax and enjoy the funky, mod space between appointments. You can also by to watch Drew Brophy perform his famous art, and hear how his career got kick-started at Surf Expo. There will also be 3 daily runaway fashion shows showcasing the Board Beach and Fashion manufacturers. Enjoy the 3-D Swim Art Exhibit. Slip on a pair of 3-D glasses to view the gallery of swimwear model shots up close and personal -featuring swim fashion through the ages. Don’t forget the most important hour – Happy Hour of course! Have a beer on Surf Expo after you finish the day daily in the lobby as you leave the show. This event is not open to the public as it is exclusively for surf expo exhibitors and manufacturers.

Surf Expo Lodging Accommodations

Hotels around the Orlando Convention Center normally will require you to purchase a shuttle service to the show.
