The 2010 Fall Classic AAU Boys Basketball will be taking place at the Disney Wide World of Sports in August 2010. All teams will be playing to earn a bid for the 2011 grade National Championship. The format of play is a pool system leading to the basketball championship bracket roster. The schedule of play will be announced a week prior to the start of the basketball tournament. This schedule will be e-mailed to all teams individually but will also be available online on the AAU Boys Basketball web site. Teams who do not complete their full schedule will face penalties. Teams will play according to the Rule Book of the Boys Basketball Handbook, also available for review on the web site. AAU Boys Fall Classic Basketball: Who And Where?
The preset age groups can participate in the AAU Fall Classic for Boys IF all players and coaches are members of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Sports Organization. To join the AAU simply go to the AAU Sports Organization web site to “join” here.
The event will be hosted at the Milk house and at the Jostens Center located at Disney’s Wide World of Sports in beautiful Lake Buena Vista. The teams will have over 12 courts total all in one location to show off their skills. See your favorite national youth teams take title for the 2010 National Championship and play according to their ages and grades. The sportsmanship these teams will present will surely send them on their way to stardom at the Disney courts. Don’t let the show sizes fool you because these young athletes will be stepping up their game putting their best moves on display. Medals and trophies will be presented to the 1st and 2nd place winners.

Vacation rentals are available in either condos or town homes and vacation homes with private pool, ranging from 2 to 8 bedrooms large. Depending on the season, condos and town homes with 2 bedrooms start at $69 per night, private pool homes start at $89 per night. AAU Fun Facts
The AAU was well represented at the 2010 NBA draft. The AAU lit up round one with 14 of the initial 30 picks having come through the AAU system and had 2 more selections in the second round. 12 out of the 13 selections were all former AAU players. What a remarkable outcome! Good luck to the players and we are looking forward to see our future NBA players sweep the courts with their moves.
