July 2010 the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida welcomes the America Telugu Sambaralu event. The convention will be located in the West Building, Hall WD with an estimated 6,000 people in attendance at this private event. Several events will take place over the course of these two days including the Miss America Telugu Sambaralu 2009 pageant. All events are organized through the North America Telugu Society (NATS).
America Telugu Society
The North America Telugu Society is a non-profit national organization for Telugu (Indians) living in the U.S. The Society provides services to members of the Telugu community including social, financial, and educational support services. This non-political, youth-oriented group is dedicated to providing communication and efficient services to its members through the use of current technology and they strive to encourage service-oriented Telugu to lead NATS while avoiding conflicts of interest.
America Telugu Sambaralu
The America Telugu Sambaralu Event is a national celebration for the North American Telugu Society and they will have many forms of entertainment at the convention this year including a gala of movie stars, a splendid musical compilation including folk songs, Telegu ghazals, mimicry and dance performances. Come and shop to your hearts content with isles of booths that will include Indian jewelry, indian dresses, movies, CD’s, handicraft, Telugu books and much more. It is a celebration you do not want to miss!
